New site, new purpose

I have been making some changes in my online activities lately. I deleted my Facebook account and moved my personal site away from Tumblr because I didn’t feel like it was a very productive use of my time. I will continue on Twitter until that too becomes too much of a useless time suck.

I plan to use this new site as a fun place to share a bit about some of my educational endeavors. I have been learning Korean on and off for many years, and I would like to post some of the things I learn as I learn them. I am also learning how to write code in Python and R that I hope will eventually be useful for bioinformatic purposes. There may also be miscellaneous posts now and then on a couple of other hobbies: macs and homebrew.

The views expressed on this site are my own and are always subject to change provided more information. To me, that is part of what makes life so much fun.
